Touch Africa

Following on from the success of last years Enduro Africa Bike ride I am once again organising a Charity Karting Event.

Amazingly the tough conditions and overnight accommodation during the Enduro ride last year have not deterred me. In fact the fantastic friends and smiling faces amongst the hardship and poverty of the people I met on the trip have inspired me to once again don the helmet and body armour and take on the ride this year.

I am funding the trip costs myself so that all the monies donated can go direct to Touch Africa the charity I am working with this year.

2011 Fantastic Race Day

2011's Karting Day proved to be just as popular as ever and we raised over £5,300. All went well, the sun shone and everyone had a great day. Special mention to Paul Gowan who managed to break three ribs on the first lap but soldiered on for another 55mins,top job fella, or "the bubblewrap Kid" as he's now known.
