It was in September when Guy announced that he was doing something called Enduro Africa to raise funds for charity and he asked me if I wanted to come along. At first I thought he was mad but once I had seen the videos of the previous years’ events and been under the influence of Guy’s persuasive charm I thought why not!

Apart from on holiday as a youngster, I have never ridden a motorbike before, not even on the road, let alone across 1000 miles of off road Southern African terrain! However, I see it as a challenge and something to get my teeth stuck into.

Not only will it be the adventure of a lifetime for me, but it is all in a good cause to raise money for these very worthwhile African children’s charities. I hope to raise as much money as possible but aim to personally achieve a minimum of £10000.

This whole venture is to raise money for people much less fortunate than ourselves, so please, please, please dig deep and donate as much as you can afford to this fantastic cause!
